Cleveland woman killed in two-vehicle crash on Indiana Toll Road

    A two-vehicle crash on the Indiana Toll Road killed one woman and sent a man to the hospital late Sunday night.

    A 37-year-old Cleveland woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Steuben County on the Indiana Toll Road late Sunday night.

    Toyia Hill-Griffin, 37, was a passenger in a pickup truck involved in the crash, which happened on the eastbound lanes of I-80/90 near mile marker 147. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the Steuben County Coroner, the press release stated.

    Veguilla Aquino, 66, of Chicago, was driving a truck with a dump trailer below the posted speed limit around 10:40 p.m. when the trailer was rear-ended by the pickup truck, according to a press release from the Indiana State Police.

    The driver of the pickup truck, 38-year-old Ramon D. Griffin of Cleveland, was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was listed in fair condition as of Monday morning. Aquino and his passenger were not injured.
