Pendry Powder Coatings in Warsaw destroyed after Friday morning blaze

The cause of the fire at Pendry Powder Coatings in Warsaw is still under investigation.

Emergency crews spent the morning battling a blaze at a factory in Warsaw, according to our reporting partners at WNDU.

Employees at Pendry Powder Coatings called 911 around 7:30 a.m. Friday, June 27, after spotting an electrical fire in the ceiling, WSBT reported.

Every water tanker in Kosciusko County was brought to the fire, and help was requested from Noble and Whitley counties, FOX 28 reported.

The fire was under control by 8 a.m., but smoke was still visible at 9 a.m., WNDU reported.

Crews have said the building is a total loss, FOX 28 reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, WNDU reported.
