Police in St. Joseph County are asking residents to be on the lookout for unexploded bottle bombs in their neighborhoods.

Residents in the Waterford Green neighborhood reported finding the devices, made from a mixture of household chemicals in plastic bottles, in their yards and mailboxes, according to a report from the Elkhart Truth’s news partner, WNDU.com.

The St. Joseph County Police Department asks any resident who finds a bottle bomb not to touch it and to call police immediately.
