One person was killed Sunday after a semi truck struck a Honda Civic on the Indiana Toll Road near Michigan City.
The Honda Civic was traveling westbound near mile marker 53 around 8:16 p.m. Sunday, June 15, when it crossed the median and into eastbound traffic and was struck by a semi truck, according to a report from the Elkhart Truth’s news partner, WNDU.com.
The man sitting in the passenger seat was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, his wife, was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment of unknown injures, WNDU reports.
The names of the victims have not been released.
