Three people were taken to a hospital after a car went off center of the road and hit another vehicle Tuesday afternoon, June 3, in the 1900 block of East Jackson Boulevard in Elkhart.

The Elkhart Police Department and the Elkhart Fire Department responded to the two-vehicle crash. Elkhart police Sgt. Doug Ryback said a man driving a blue car westbound on East Jackson Boulevard went left of center of the road and hit a tan SUV. Police think a medical condition caused the man to drive out of his lane.

A woman driving the SUV was taken to the hospital, as well as the young girl riding with her. The driver of the blue car was also taken to the hospital. Crews have cleared the scene.
