Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 20 on Sunday morning, May 11.
According to a news release from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, 21-year-old Jonah Eash, of Syracuse, was driving a Kia Sport westbound on U.S. 20 around 11:48 a.m. Sunday when he slowed to turn left onto C.R. 31.
As the Kia slowed, it was struck from behind by a Ford F-250 driven by 76-year-old Norman Conner, of Parker, Penn.
Eash was taken to IU Health Goshen for treatment of back pain and a small cut on his head. Patricia Mast, 21, of LaGrange, was a passenger in the Kia and also was taken to the hospital with complaints of back and leg pain.
