Two women suffer minor injuries are two-car accident in Goshen
GOSHEN — Two women were injured following a two-vehicle crash Friday, April 25, in Goshen.
The Goshen Police Department and the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department responded to the crash, which was reported at 7:39 p.m. at the intersection of Reliance Road and Peddler's Village Road.
According to a press release from the sheriff's department, Jennifer Cortez, 28, of Elkhart, was driving south on Reliance Road and stopped at the stop sign before moving into the intersection. Kathleen Royer, 68, of Elkhart was driving west on Peddler's Village and disregarded the stop sign at the intersection, hitting Cortez's vehicle.
Dorothy Cutrell, 89, a passenger in Royer's car, received medical attention at the scene by Goshen medics for head and neck pain. She was not taken to the hospital.
Cortez also had head and neck pain, but she did not require medical attention, according to the release. No citations were issued at the scene. The Goshen Police Department is conducting the investigation.
