ELKHART — A man was treated at the scene of a crash early Sunday morning, March 30 on the west side of Elkhart.
According to a press release from the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, emergency crews were called at about 5 a.m. to C.R. 20, west of Grace Lane, for reports of a three-vehicle crash.
Scott Whittaker, 47, of Elkhart, was backing out of a private driveway onto C.R. 20 when his car collided with a vehicle that was heading east on C.R. 20. That vehicle was then pushed into the path of a westbound car on C.R. 20.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, Brennan Decker, 23, of Granger, was treated at the scene by Baugo Township paramedics for a cut on his head.
Neither Whittaker nor the driver of the eastbound vehicle was injured as a result of the crash.
