Goshen man chased by hammer-wielding woman at gas station
A confrontation at a gas station followed scooter driver's report that driver forced him off the road
GOSHEN — A Goshen man stopped, and it was hammer time.
The 45-year-old man told police that he was driving his scooter in the 300 block of East Madison Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, when a car forced him off the roadway twice, according to a report from the Goshen Police Department.
He pulled into a gas station and an unknown woman got out of the car and began chasing him on foot with a hammer. The woman damaged his scooter and left before police arrived.
