Man arrested for dealing in cocaine during search warrant

    Christopher Frazier was arrested and is being held in the Elkhart County Jail without a bond.

    ELKHART — Police arrested a man on suspicion of dealing in cocaine following a search warrant in a house south of downtown Elkhart.

    According to a press release from the Elkhart Police Department, officers from the drug unit and the special response team executed a search warrant at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 1412 Prairie St. following an investigation by the drug unit.

    Police arrested Christopher Frazier, 31, of Elkhart on a preliminary charge of dealing in cocaine as a Class A felony. The maximum sentence for a Class A felony is 50 years in prison.

    Frazier was booked in the Elkhart County Jail without a bond.
