Benton Harbor man dead after mobile home fire

Authorities have released the name of the man killed early Wednesday after a fire broke out at a mobile home in Orchard View Estates mobile home park.

A Benton Harbor man killed in a Wednesday morning mobile home fire has been identified by authorities, as reported by The Elkhart Truth's news partner WNDU.

Investigators say 73-year-old Robert James was found dead after a fire started in his Orchard View Estates mobile home. The fire was reported to authorities just after midnight.

The Benton Township Fire Department responded to the call and has not yet determined a cause, reports WSBT. It took about 45 minutes to control the fire.
