Police search for missing Elkhart man

Family members of the man became concerned when they found he had not been to him home in some time.

ELKHART — The Elkhart Police Department is asking for the community's help in locating a missing Elkhart man.

The family of 32-year-old Lance Michael Miller reported him missing on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Miller, described as a white man with brown hair and green eyes, is about 5-foot-10 and weighs about 290 pounds, according to a police news release.

His family told police Miller suffers from mental and emotional disorders and may not be taking his medications. Police and family members checked Miller's home and found signs that he had not been there for some time.

Detective Steve Mock said Miller was last seen on Jan. 30 at the Faith Mission, 801 Benham Ave.

Anyone with information about Miller's whereabouts is asked to call the Elkhart Police Department at 574-295-7070.
