Police looking for man they say stole alcohol from CVS

The Elkhart Police Department is looking for a man who they say stole alcohol from an Elkhart convenience store.

ELKHART — The Elkhart Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who they say stole alcohol and pop from an Elkhart convenience store.

Police say that on Saturday, Feb. 1, a black man with a bald head wearing a red hooded sweatshirt entered the CVS Pharmacy at 900 E. Bristol St., Elkhart, and walked to the alcohol aisle. He grabbed a bottle of Tanqueray Gin and two Mountain Dew pops and ran out of the store when an employee asked if he needed help.

Other businesses have reported similar thefts, police said.
