ELKHART — The Elkhart Police Department is asking for help in identifying a person seen on a security video using a stolen credit card.

Police say that a woman and her daughter were at a business on the north side of Elkhart Sunday, Jan. 26, when someone broke a window on their car and stole several items, including a purse and a cell phone.

Soon after, a woman was seen on a security tape at the Wal-Mart store on C.R. 6 using the card to purchase a 39-inch flat screen television. The same card was later used at Target in Mishawaka.

The Elkhart Police Department is asking for help in identifying the woman seen in the videos. Anyone with information may contact Detective Steve Mock at 574-389-4732.
