Elkhart man arrested in Kosciusko county following undercover drug buy
An Elkhart man was arrested in Kosciusko County on a preliminary charge of dealing in marijuana.

MILFORD — Kosciusko County officers arrested an Elkhart man after he attempted to flee following an undercover drug buy.
Emmanuel Ryan Kwabena Collier, 30, of Elkhart, was arrested on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement and dealing in marijuana within 1,000 feet of school property Monday afternoon, Jan. 13, according to a press release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.
According to the press release, Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers were conducting an undercover purchase of marijuana Monday afternoon after a month-long investigation.
After the purchase, Collier suddenly ran from officers, and was after tackled shortly afterward by sheriff’s deputies. He had not been formally charged as of Tuesday morning.
Collier is already facing other drug-related charges. In September he was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of marijuana and one count of resisting law enforcement in Elkhart County. His case is pending in Elkhart Superior Court 6 and his next hearing is scheduled for Feb. 12.
