Goshen man killed in one-vehicle crash in Cass County
A Goshen man died after a one-car crash in Cass County, Mich.

CASS COUNTY, Mich. — A Goshen, Ind., man was killed when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree before coming to a rest in a ravine in Jefferson Township, Cass County, on Saturday, Dec. 21.
David M. Wenger, 52, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the one-vehicle crash near Calvin Hill Street and North Shore Drive at approximately 8:29 a.m., according to Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr.
Wenger was traveling west on Calvin Hill Street at a curve near the North Shore Drive intersection when his vehicle left the road, Underwood said. Wenger was wearing a seat belt.
Underwood added there was heavy fog in the area at the time of the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
