GOSHEN — Several organizations are offering a reward for information leading the arrest and conviction of a trio of armed robbers.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Columbus Field Division is offering a $7,000 reward, which will be matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation — the trade association for the firearms industry — for a total reward of $14,000 for information about the Dec. 14 robbery of MC Sports in Goshen, according to a news release from the ATF.

The ATF and Goshen Police Department are investigating the theft of firearms and ammunition during the robbery at the store at 4024 Elkhart Road.

According to police news releases, three masked men entered the store Saturday evening and ordered all 11 people inside to the ground. The men bound them with cable ties and robbed the business. Police were called to the store at 8:12 p.m. after the suspects had fled the area in a Dodge Neon.

A vehicle matching the description of the getaway car was found at Maple Court Apartments in Goshen.

The Goshen Police Department on Tuesday, Dec. 17 released photos of two men identified as persons of interest who may have information to help police in the investigation.

The $14,000 reward is part of a larger initiative between the ATF and NSSF in which NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed dealers, according to the news release.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the ATF at 800-ATF-GUNS (800-283-4867), the Goshen Police Department at 574-533-8661 or Michiana Crime Stoppers at 800-342-STOP.
