Emergency crews were called to a crash between two vehicles in the intersection of S.R. 15 and C.R. 46, according to the Elkhart County 911 Center.
A womand and a man were taken to IU Health Goshen, but details on their injuries are not yet available. An Elkhart County Sheriff's Department officer said news release will be sent out, but a specific time could not be given.
A red sedan was going northbound on S.R. 15 when it was hit by a pickup driving westbound on C.R. 46. Officials believe the pickup ran a stop sign.
A helicopter was initially called to the scene, but it was canceled after medics decided it wasn't necessary. according to a dispatcher.
