ELKHART — Police are asking the public to help identify a woman who they say shoplifted items from a local Family Dollar.

The woman is described as being in her late 30s or early 40s. She went into the Family Dollar store located at 909 Goshen Ave. at approximately 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, said Detective Steve Mock with the Elkhart Police Department. While the woman was there, she purchased food items. When she walked out, she set off the door alarm, Mock said. The woman discarded most of the items she had not paid for before leaving the area.

Anyone with information about this incident may call Steve Mock at 574-389-4732.
