Goshen Motorcyclist injured in crash with truck

An Elkhart man is in critical condition at Parkview North Hospital after his motorcycle crashed into a truck Tuesday evening, Oct. 8.

Thomas Frost, 45, was airlifted after the crash at S.R. 15 and C.R. 42, just south of Goshen, after sustaining leg fractures and a head injury during the crash, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.

Frost was driving north on S.R. 15 at approximately 9:35 p.m. when a truck driven by Spencer M. Erb, 22, of New Paris, turned south onto S.R. 15 from C.R. 42, in front of Frost.

Frost, who had the right of way, crashed into Erb’s truck, according to police.

No citations have been issued as the crash remains under investigation by the Elkhart County Sheriff Department’s crash investigation team.
