SOUTH BEND — A Goshen man was in stable condition Saturday afternoon at South Bend Memorial Hospital after he was injured in car crash Friday.
Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department investigators said Michael R. Snook, 56, suffered facial and chest injuries in the 12:10 p.m. crash on C.R. 7 south of C.R. 50.
Police said Snook was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado north on C.R. 7 when the vehicle went off the east side of the road into a corn field. The vehicle came back on to the road, traveling south. It then went off of the west side of the road, hitting a tree head-on.
