Man still in serious condition following ATV crash
A man remains in serious condition after he was involved in an AVT crash.

ELKHART — A man who was thrown from an all-terrain vehicle Sunday afternoon, June 16, on the northeast side of the city remains in the hospital.
A spokesperson from Memorial Hospital in South Bend said Christopher Scaff, 51, of Elkhart, is in serious condition.
According to a report from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Scaff was driving the ATV around 4:10 p.m. in a grassy field behind 2503 Banks Court when he crashed into a ditch he did not see. He was thrown from the vehicle after hitting the ditch.
He was flown to the hospital with back pain and internal injuries, according to the report.
