Elkhart Two arrested on methamphetamine charges

ELKHART — Two Elkhart residents were arrested Sunday evening on numerous drug-related charges for manufacturing methamphetamine in their home.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department arrested Alaina Sarber, 35, and Charles Hardy III, 32, at their residence at 25173 Grover St. at 5:42 p.m. Sunday, June 9.

Sarber was arrested on a local warrant and on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, obstruction of justice, dumping a controlled substance, possession of precursors, possession of a hypodermic needle, maintaining a common nuisance, false informing, possession of paraphernalia and resisting law enforcement.

Hardy was arrested on preliminary charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, maintaining a common nuisance, driving with a suspended license and possession of paraphernalia.
