MIDDLEBURY — A man was arrested Thursday morning, June 6, after police found a meth lab in his car in Middlebury.
Middlebury police officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle at 8:10 a.m. Thursday just north of town. Officers discovered the driver, David L. Clark, 59, of Middlebury, had a suspended driver’s license and was in possession of methamphetamine.
Items located in the car also appeared to be part of a meth lab. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was contacted and they determined that the items were in fact a meth lab.
Clark was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of meth, manufacturing meth and driving while suspended.
He is being held at the Elkhart County Jail without bond.
