MIDDLEBURY — Reports of a loud house party led police to the arrest of eight juveniles and three others for underage drinking.
The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department’s Teen Alcohol Reduction Team and the Middlebury Police Department responded at about 11 p.m. to 54225 C.R. 8 where someone reported a loud party.
Police arrested eight people ages 16 and 17 for consuming alcoholic beverages and released them to their parents on promises to appear in court. Three adults of age 20 were cited and released.
Darlene Yoder, 21; Michael Schlabach, 22; Dora Bontrager, 21; Loren Mullet, 23; and Marilyn Schlabach, 21, were cited for a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of minors.
