Four people were arrested shortly after Elkhart store was robbed.

ELKHART — Police arrested four suspects just a few minutes after a robbery at an Elkhart business.

The Elkhart Police Department responded around 9 p.m. Sunday, April 21, to Bower Quick Stop, a business located at 704 Bower St.

Deunta Lee, 21, Tommy Gary, 21, Kevin Gary, 20, and Melvin Flenoy, 22, all of Elkhart, were arrested just two blocks away on the 900 block of Bower Street, according to a report from the Elkhart Police Department.

The victims of the robbery told police the suspects took money and cigarettes. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.

The four individuals were booked at the Elkhart County Jail on a $200,000 bond, according to the jail’s website. Formal charges have not been filed.
