Child found in house with meth lab, police arrest 2

ETNA GREEN — Two people were arrested Tuesday in Etna Green after an active meth lab was found at a residence.

According to a press release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrived at 9556 W. Old Road 30 in Etna Green at about 3:43 p.m. Tuesday to serve an active warrant. A resident of the house directed the deputies to what appeared to be an active one-pot methamphetamine lab.

Kayla Anne Waltz, 25, of Etna Green, and Eric Michael Graham, 28, of Warsaw, were located inside the residence along with a 4-year-old child. Officers located precursors commonly used in the production of meth in an outside burn barrel.

Waltz and Graham were arrested on preliminary charges of felony possession of a chemical reagent and/or precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

Waltz was also arrested on an outstanding Kosciusko County warrant for criminal conversion. She is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with a $12,000 bond. Graham is also in the Kosciusko County Jail with a $2,000 bond. The child was placed in the custody of the Department of Child Services.
