Police look for man accused of robbing Goshen liquor store

    Police responded to an armed robbery at a Goshen business Friday night.

    GOSHEN — Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a business on the north side of Goshen.

    The Goshen Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at about 10:11 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at Bowers Party Shoppe, located at 1917 Elkhart Road.

    An employee at the shop told police a man, who stood about 6-feet tall, with his face almost entirely covered, approached the counter. He displayed a silver handgun and demanded the cash from the register, according to police.

    The man then fled the store. Another employee was working in the back of the business at the time of the robbery and was unaware of what had happened.
