Capt. Jim Bradberry, public information officer with the Sheriff’s Department, said all five cases are under investigation, and that it may be too soon to speculate whether any of the cases are related.

This weekend, there were two robberies that happened at two different tobacco stores.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department responded around 6:45 p.m. Sunday to Low Bob’s Discount Tobacco, located at 51523 S.R. 19, where an employee said two men entered the store and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cartons of cigarettes. According to the employee, the suspects left in a black or dark colored late model of Chrysler, which was driven by a third man.

Around 7 p.m. Saturday, police responded to Stogie’s Discount Tobacco Store, located at 30913 Old U.S. 20. An employee told police two men entered the store armed with a shotgun.
