Bank robbery suspect sought

ELKHART — Police are searching for a suspect who robbed Bank of America, 320 N. Main St., around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Elkhart Police Department describes the suspect as a white male between 5 foot 8-inches and 5 foot 10-inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing an orange knit cap and tan work jacket.

The suspect demanded money and then left on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
