RV executives will discuss the state of the industry at the second annual RV Industry Power Breakfast May 8 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame's Northern Indiana Event Center.
This year's breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. On stage for the program, which will start at 7:15 a.m., will be representatives of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association, the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association, Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA), the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce, and teleconference remarks from U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., schedule permitting.
The tone figures to be upbeat, following recent news that RV wholesale shipments in February reached an eight-year high for that month.
"Even months of inclement weather, and the resulting obstacles we've all faced in getting our products to market, failed to slow the pace we've regained over the past three years," RVIA chairman Doug Gaeddert, a general manager for Forest River Inc., said in a statement.
Anchoring the program's first half will be an updated look at the industry's Go RVing marketing campaign led by James Ashurst, vice president of communications and marketing for RVIA.
Registration for the event is now open on the RVBusiness.com website or in person at the Hall of Fame or RVB's Elkhart office, 2901 E. Bristol St. Tickets are $30 for singles and $225 for a table of 8.
