Winning names drawn at Better World Books

Six winning names were drawn during Goshen's First Friday for beer themed books at Better World Books.

During Goshen's First Friday, we had a great turn out at Better World Books-Goshen to celebrate March-Beer Book Month.  Lots of beer enthusiasts entered their names for the free drawing, and I always have a great time talking beer with all of you.  Both new readers and beginning home brewers came over to introduce themselves and I look forward to meeting more of you throughout Michiana.

At 8:30, Hop Notes reader Keith Hiebner drew out the first name, (unfortunately for him, it wasn't his own) and the winner of the Bell's Mug and The Home Brewer's Guide to Vintage Beer by Ron Pattinson was Tim Hershberger.  Five other names were drawn by random First Friday attendees that were willing to help out.

Many of you asked about the book Locally Brewed by Anna Blessing which I reviewed a couple of days ago.  All copies that were on the shelf at Better World Books were sold. However, Brad has assured me that more are on order and will be there soon.  They have a wonderful selection of books for home brewers and beer enthusiasts.  Throughout the rest of the month, I will highlight more of my favorite beer books as well as some that have just recently become available.

Thanks to all of you who came out to support Hop Notes, Better World Books, and First Friday last evening.  I hope to see all of you again soon.
