More than a dozen chefs will showcase food at Sunday's event at Morris Inn on the campus of Notre Dame.
The Junior League of South Bend and the American Culinary Federation's South Bend chapter are conducting the event as an annual fundraiser. A committee of people has arranged for chef stations from LaSalle Grill, Fat Cam's at Garver Lake, BHG Chinese Bistro, Ciao's Lounge, Weiss' Gausthaus, Javier's Bistro and 10 other locations.
A silent auction includes a number of packages, including being chef for a day at LaSalle Grill or having dinner for a group at Carriage House or Woochi. Tickets for sporting events and a trip to Napa Valley's wine country will also be in the silent auction.
I'll be a celebrity judge along with Michele Scherpenberg of Epicureans Unite, but you can taste all the food, wine and beer for $50 in advance or $55 at the door. For more information, contact Katie James at firstname.lastname@example.org.
