The kitchen at the Knights of Columbus hall in Elkhart are hot as cooks prepare traditional Polish fare for its annual Dyngus Day celebration.
For $8.50, you can get a plate of Polish sausage, pierogi, noodles with chicken gravy, sweet and sour cabbage and boiled eggs.
Lunch and dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. U.S. Rep. Jackie Walorski is expected to stop by around 11:15 a.m.
Also, if you haven't reserved a spot at the Pitch & Pull event at Iechyd Da Monday night, you're too late. The event is officially sold out and no walk-ups will be allowed. The Elkhart Truth's Marshall King will emcee the event with Kyle Hannon of the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce.
