Want to take a culinary trip around the world that only costs $10? IU South Bend has the event for you.
IUSB's Office of International Student Services is hosting its 15th annual International Food Festival this weekend.
The event has grown since its inception and offers attendees the chance to see aspects of other cultures they may not often be exposed to.
The event will feature food from Vietnam, Palestine, Russia, Costa Rica and several other countries. There will also be performances such as traditional traditional dance performances from China, Saudia Arabia and Russia and a fashion show that features traditional clothes from 10 countries.
Activities such as braids, henna tattoos, and origami will also be available.
The festival is from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5 at The University Grille located in the center of IU South Bend's campus. IUSB is located at 1700 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.
Tickets are $10 for teenagers and adults 13 and older, $5 for children ages 3 to 12 and free for children two and under. You can purchase tickets at the door.
