    Paint the town green with St. Patrick's Day celebrations this weekend

    St. Patrick's Day may fall on a Monday this year, but that's not going to stop Elkhart County from wearing green and celebrating the patron saint of Ireland all weekend long.

    Don't have plans for St. Paddy's yet? The list below has information for all sorts of celebrations, from all-out parties to traditional meals.

    FRIDAY

    SATURDAY

    Five Star Dive Bar, Elkhart

    • Hosting a tent party featuring Simple Crush under the tent and PS Dump Your Boyfriend (Pfreak Show) on the inside stage. Irish food will be available and shots are $2. Doors open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 7 p.m.
      Cover charge: $10

    Goshen Moose Lodge, Goshen

    523 Tap and Grill, Elkhart

    • Corned beef hash and St. Patrick’s Day martini

    Bowly’s Crystal Bar, Elkhart

    • Serving 20 oz. draft green beer for $2.75, Irish car bombs for $5 and jello shots for $2

    Double-D’s Bar and Grill, Goshen

    • Hosting a St. Patrick’s Day party featuring DJ Ron Culp, Two-ginger Irish whiskey drinks for $4.50, Irish car bombs for $5
