SOUTH BEND — A Martin's Super Market in South Bend will host a gluten-free foods expo March 15.
The super market, located at 2081 South Bend Ave., will host the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the store's two-story Side Door Deli Café area.
The event is free.
Vendors scheduled to attend include Think Bars, Enjoy Life, San-J, Walden Farms, Sam Mills, Bakery on Main, Bob’s Red Mill, Namaste, Udi’s, Rudi’s and Daiya.
Two educational workshops will be held in the second-floor Side Door Suite area.
At noon, the public can join Gluten-Free Kitchen Basics. Jeannie Derrow, a Memorial Hospital registered nurse, will discuss label reading, avoiding cross-contamination in the kitchen and stocking the ideal gluten-free pantry.
At 1:15 p.m., Lindsey Ucki of Namaste Foods will teach Gluten Free Meal Solutions. Ucki will conduct a cooking demonstration and host a Q&A about gluten-free baking.
