GOSHEN — The smell of grilled burgers and sugary sweet frozen custard is luring hungry people to the south side of Goshen, where a new Culver’s fast food restaurant has opened.

Culver’s opened its doors at 2019 Lincolnway East on Feb. 17. The restaurant’s menu offers standard Culver’s fare including its signature ButterBurgers, frozen custard, chicken tenders and sandwiches and other sweet treats.

Lines of customers ordering food at the front counter at lunchtime were long Thursday, Feb. 27, but moved quickly. The Goshen location features Wi-Fi access and is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Culver’s first opened in Wisconsin in 1984 and now has almost 500 locations across the country. The fast food chain has one other location in Elkhart County at 2726 Emerson Drive in Elkhart.
