Goshen’s Venturi restaurant has made the list of “Most life-changing pizzeria in America” by Esquire magazine.

The restaurant began in 2011 and has been certified Vera Pizza Napoletana by the organization that promotes real Neapolitan pizza. It’s the only pizzeria in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio to have that certification.

Justin Venturi opened the restaurant with several business partners in January 2011. It is open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for dinner and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to Friday for lunch

The restaurant is at 123 E. Lincoln Ave., Goshen. For information call 574-485-2985 or go to www.eatventuri.com.

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Chicago topped the Esquire list. Frank Pepe Pizzeria was second. The only other Midwest pizzeria on the list is Savoy Inn in St. Paul, Minn.
