The dining options in Elkhart continue to diversify.

Leo Lin and his wife, Teresa Li, are on their way to opening Sakura Japanese Steakhouse at 151 C.R. 6, in front of the Wal-Mart. The restaurant is slated to open in November or December.

“We didn’t want it to be a huge restaurant but kind of like family style,” Li told reporter Jeff Parrot. “I want customers to come and feel the family warmth.”

The eatery will seat 67 and feature a wide range of seafood, chicken and steak, along with beer and wine. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
