ELKHART — Mark Soltys has joined Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams Ltd., a Chicago accounting firm. Soltys most recently served as a director in the state and local tax practice of McGladrey LLP in South Bend and Elkhart.
In his new position, Soltys will focus on expanding state and local tax services to ORBA’s clients. Soltys is the treasurer of the Buchanan Area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the School of Business Advisory Board at Southwestern Michigan Community College.
Soltys received his bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University and his state and local taxation certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Keystone RV Co.
GOSHEN — Two new general managers have been appointed at Keystone RV Co. Brian Hyde is the new general manager for the Bullet, Outback and Raptor lines. Bren Lauck is the general manager for the Alpine, Avalanche, Laredo and Passport lines.
Hyde previously served as the Bullet product manager, with prior experience as direct sales manager for Keystone Outback RV Co.
Lauck previously served as the Passport Ultra Lite product manager. He brings more than 17 years of industry experience to the position.
Volunteers of America
NOTRE DAME — Jerry G. Langley, executive in residence at the University of Notre Dame, has been appointed to Volunteers of America’s national board of directors.
Langley teaches commercial banking, global financial strategy, investment management, corporate finance and bond issue process classes in Notre Dame’s MBA program. He is also a trustee emeritus of the National Arthritis Foundation, where he served as chair from 2004 to 2006.
Langley serves as director for System Capital Corp. and is a member of the supervisory committee of the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Langley received his MBA from Northwestern University and did postgraduate work in accounting at DePaul University. He lives in Granger.
ELKHART — Tim Leman, president and CEO of Gibson, has been named to Business Insurance’s 40 Under 40 Regional Broker Leaders program. Eight honorees were selected in five regions nationwide.
Leman joined Gibson in 2005 as the director of employee benefits. He was named a stockholder in 2006; chief growth officer in 2007 when he also joined the executive leadership team; president in 2009; and CEO in 2011.
He previously received Michiana’s 40 Under 40 honor in 2008 and was named the 2013 Outstanding Young Business Leader from the Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County.
Leman is on the Indiana State University Dean’s Executive Council, the national board of trustees for Gamma Iota Sigma, a member of the Indiana chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization and is the vice chair on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of St. Joseph County.
Martin’s Super Markets
SOUTH BEND — Amy Simeri McClellan has been named director of marketing for Martin’s Super Markets. Simeri will lead marketing, advertising and promotional efforts for the grocery company and its related retail divisions.
McClellan has served the company in various roles since 1996, most recently as loyalty and marketing programs manager. She has served as a member of Young Professionals Against Poverty and board president for Make a Difference Michiana.
She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Indiana University South Bend.
CHIPHONE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
ELKHART — Ronald H. Mazur, CEO of Chiphone Credit Union, was inducted into the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame on Sept. 27. Mazur has spent more than 40 years of his career serving credit unions. He was on the board of directors of the Indiana Credit Union League from 2006 to 2012 and is a past league chairman. Mazur is a charter member of the Indiana shared branching board, formerly the Credit Union Centers of North Central Indiana.
