TOPEKA — Andy Cripe is the new boss at Crossroads RV and Matt Thompson is the new head of sales for the recreational vehicle maker, one of the subsidiaries of Elkhart-based Thor Industries.
Cripe took the position as president of Crossroads after a decade at sister company Keystone RV.
“We are pleased to have Andy take a strong leadership role at Crossroads RV,” said Bob Martin, Thor president and chief executive officer, in the written announcement Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 28. “Andy has a strong track record of performance at Keystone RV that should enable him to make an immediate impact on the operations of Crossroads. The ability to fill such an important position internally illustrates the strength and depth of Thor’s management bench.”
Cripe came to Keystone after stints at Ernst & Young and General Electric, and he’s held a variety of management roles, including Raptor district manager and product manager as well as general manager of three brands.
Cripe took over Monday, Aug. 26, and replaced Don Emahiser, who left the company earlier in August.
As part of the transition, Thompson takes on the newly created position of vice president of sales at Crossroads, overseeing all sales.
Thompson has been in the RV industry for 20 years and at Thor companies for more than a decade. He was previously a general manager at Crossroads, and before that held several vice president positions at Thor Motor Coach.
