Elkhart County Community Foundation
ELKHART — Elkhart County Community Foundation has announced the following hires and promotions:
Shannon Oakes will be promoted to director of grants administration on Jan. 1. She will oversee the grant administration process for the foundation’s Fund for Elkhart County and provide technical and administrative liaison to grant-seeking organizations, students, parents and nonprofit communities. Oakes has served as office manager and scholarships coordinator and has been with the organization for 11 years. She earned an associate degree in business from Indiana University South Bend and a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Goshen College.
Tressa Huddleston has been hired as office manager. She previously worked at Bristol Elementary School as a special education para-professional. Huddleston is a resident of Bristol.
Lake City Bank
ELKHART — Ronald BonDurant has been named vice president and commercial banking officer at Lake City Bank. He will serve the northern Indiana area markets.
BonDurant holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Business Administration degree from Manchester College. He has 19 years of experience in commercial banking and is a resident of Elkhart.
GOSHEN — Kirk Elliott has earned his certified insurance counselor designation from the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors and the National Alliance. He attended five courses covering all phases of the insurance industry and passed five examinations to earn his certificate.
Elliott is a commercial insurance producer at Salem Insurance.
1st Source Bank
SOUTH BEND — Christopher Craft has been named president of the auto/light truck and specialty vehicle fleet divisions for 1st Source Bank’s Specialty Finance Group. He will oversee all aspects of financing, treasury management and client service for the auto/light truck rental, commercial transportation lessor, shuttle bus, delivery van and funeral car markets.
Craft began his career at 1st Source Bank in 1985 and rejoins the company after serving as senior vice president and commercial banking regional manager for Lake City Bank. Craft holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Indiana University South Bend and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Notre Dame.
