Two arrested on preliminary burglary charges following multiple residential burglaries

Crispin Harper and Katylyn Lodewegen were arrested on preliminary charges of burglary.

ELKHART — A black Hyundai Sonata that matched the description of one that was involved with a string of daytime residential burglaries was found Friday, Aug. 22, by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau, according to a news release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department

Crispin Harper, 20, and Katylyn Lodewegen, 21, both of Mishawaka, were arrested on preliminary charges of burglary. 

The burglaries took place in residential areas in Jefferson and Concord townships, according to the news release. 

Officers found multiple items of stolen property at the Elkhart residence, according to the news release.
