The annual Perseid meteor shower starts tonight and peaks Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. NASA says stargazers can expect to see fireballs and about 100 meteors an hour at the shower’s peak, if they follow NASA’s advice on watching. The Sunday meteor shower coincides with the 2014 supermoon, when the moon will be larger and brighter than any other night of the year due to its close proximity to Earth.
