Motorcyclist in CR 6 crash died of his injuries

Motorcyclist Michael Nunez, 33, was ejected from his vehicle after crashing into a stopped car on C.R. 6 on Sunday.

A motorcyclist who crashed into a stopped car Sunday, July 13, on C.R. 6 died at 8 p.m. Monday, July 14, from injuries sustained during the crash.

Motorcyclist Michael Nunez, 33, was ejected from his vehicle during the crash and taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries Sunday night.

An Elkhart County Sheriff’s deputy clocked Nunez going 97 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to a sheriff’s department press release.
