A problem with Verizon’s online billing system is impacting customers across the country, USA Today reports.
For at least the past 24 hours, some customers have been unable to activate new devices, upgrade their phones at some in-store locations or pay their bills online, The Verge reports.
A company spokesperson told USA Today that they’re working to fix the problem. Areas affected include the Midwest, Northeast and some southern states, USA Today reports.
Some upset customers have turned to Twitter to vent, popularizing the hashtag #VerizonOutage.
