Twisted power lines cut power to 3,000 Indiana Michigan Power customers

ELKHART — Twisted power lines left more than 3,000 Indiana Michigan Power customers without electricity Monday afternoon.

Erica Putt, a communications representative for Indiana Michigan Power, said twisted power lines caused a pole top to burn up around 1 p.m. Monday, April 28.

Putt said power should be restored to the 3,087 customers around 3:30 p.m.
