John Adams High School teacher and student in South Bend shown fighting in video

A video, taken using another student's mobile phone, shows a teacher and student fighting at John Adams High School in South Bend last week.

A teacher and student at John Adams High School in South Bend were filmed fighting one another last week in a video sent to The Elkhart Truth's news partners WNDU.

The video, which was taken using another student's mobile phone, shows the teacher and student wrestling one another in the school's stairwell.

School officials confirmed that there was a fight and have already concluded their investigation. The school did not reveal the teacher or student's names.

The teacher is still employed by the school and will continue to teach students. The school did not disclose the student's disciplinary record.
