CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — A snow emergency in Cass County, Mich., will be lifted at noon Tuesday, Jan. 28, according to a news release from the county's Office of Emergency Management.
The local snow emergency restricting travel has been in place since 5:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27.
Cass County Road Commission crews will continue to clear snow from roads, concentrating on primary and local roadways. Subdivisions, lake area neighborhoods and some local roads are not expected to get plowed until later this week depending on weather conditions, according to the release.
